    THE OPPORTUNITY

     

    As a Digital Sales Solution Specialist, you will help to research and deliver report analytics, trouble shoot, product knowledge and up sell/renewal recommendations through our local print sales team. Your ability to put together compelling data and understand the needs of our customers (both internal and external) are integral to being successful in this role.

     

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Grow digital retention sales through our core sales team (over 400 strong)
    • Optimize our digital inventory for maximum revenue potential
    • Respond to reporting requests in a timely and efficient manner
    • Maintain a strong working knowledge of company products, special sales programs and marketing efforts within the sales division
    • Provide sound daily digital media services, digital media technical support and related functions
    • Advise, consult and provide information related to the impression levels, design, creative and online delivery of digital advertising campaigns
    • Communicate daily status updates on live or expired campaigns to identify other winning opportunities

     

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • A proven history of contributing to a winning sales team, experience within a newspaper environment a definite asset
    • Media sales/and or analytic experience in a print and online environment would be a definite asset
    • Superior customer service skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Solid organizational and time management skills
    • High computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, rich media, Flash, Java and internet
    • Knowledge of CRM, AdTech, Ominture, Google Analytics, ComScore technology, preferred
