    THE OPPORTUNITY

     

    We are currently looking for a high-energy, driven Corporate Account Executive who is interested in joining a fast-paced, passionate and innovative community focused media and marketing solutions business that serves the Canadian marketplace. As a Corporate Account Executive you will be empowered to work with, and provide, integrated, multi-platform media solutions to some of Canada’s best known brands, across all Metroland properties.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

     

    • Qualify and prospect new accounts, creatively source leads and provide national sales solutions in multi-media platforms
    • Accountable for consistently attaining and/or surpassing sales targets and achieving revenue targets
    • Responsible for maintaining and growing existing clients, and building strong business relationships within an active account base of customers
    • Provide outstanding account service
    • Proven ability to reach key decision makers and effectively sell through the solution.
    • Provide customers with creative and effective advertising solutions, and play a key role in the overall success of our organization

     

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

     

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Degree or Diploma in Business or in a related field
    • Possess a minimum of 5+ years sales experience
    • A proven history of generating sales revenue and an unprecedented drive for results
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent presentation skills
    • Valid Driver's licence
    • Motivated self-starter with discipline to work independently to achieve sales targets
    • Proficient with Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience selling media products and services to agency and client direct
    • Proven ability to work both independently and in collaboration with internal client service teams and senior business leaders
    • A solid grasp of digital and social media advertising platforms is an asset
