    We are seeking energetic, driven individuals to join our team in Peterborough This Week. We currently have an opening for a Direct Mail Clerk.


    • To insert letters into envelopes by hand and on a machine. 
    • To label and address magazines and envelopes as required. 
    • To ensure accuracy and high level quality control over all production. 
    • Manually prepare outgoing mail to exact specifications which includes manually matching multiple pieces. 
    • To report any concerns regarding mail production to the Supervisor immediately. 
    • To work on an Inserting machine, folding machine and addressing equipment
    • To keep work area clean and free from waste. 
    • To adhere to Company and Safety Policies. 
    • To understand the Company Policies, Procedures and Safety rules and to adhere to these rules and regulations as written.
    • To wear any personal protection equipment supplied by the company.
    • To report any safety hazards that is observed to the Supervisor.
    • To recognize safety violations and to act upon them as necessary.
    • To actively take part in and support all safety training seminars /sessions and support the Maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace.
    • Complete and enforce all duties in accordance with our Health and Safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • Completion of Secondary Education or equivalent
    • Strong verbal communication skills and good attention to detail
    • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline driven and demanding environment
    • Capable of working in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with team members
    • Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for an extend period of time with ease
    • Ability to bend and lift as needed
    • Ability to work while standing for long uninterrupted periods
