    THE OPPORTUNITY

    We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Adverting Coordinator in our Toronto Division. The position is responsible for supporting the sales team to provide the most efficient service for our advertisers. Primary responsibilities will include coordinating all aspects of pre and post-sales including order entry, reporting, customer service and other duties as assigned.

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Provide administrative support to the advertising department, working with sales reps and managers and liaising with our production and editorial departments.
    • Responsible for the successful and timely order entry of all advertising orders received daily.
    • Assist in organizing sales packages and coordinate with inside and outside sales reps.
    • Provide excellent customer service by responding to direct enquires, address concerns in a timely manner in addition to building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
    • As part of this role, you will be required to handle credit card information. Metroland Media is a PCI compliant company and requires people in this role to take PCI training to handle cards in a safe and compliant manner.
    • Other administrative duties as assigned.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • Approximately 2 years administrative experience.
    • Excellent time management, organization, and priority defining skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and strong data entry skills.
    • Highly flexible and adaptable; able to react quickly and effectively to urgent requests and changing priorities.
    • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proactive and keen learner.
    • Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline driven and demanding environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM a definite asset.
