    THE OPPORTUNITY

     

    The Hamilton Spectator currently has an opening for a part time Paperhandler. This is a great opportunity to join our fast paced manufacturing operation.

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Unload and stack rolls of newsprint with the use of clamp trucks.
    • Load paper ramp with newsprint.
    • Remove cardboard headers from rolls.
    • Cut newsprint from cores.
    • Bale cores.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and record of work.
    • Complete all duties in accordance with our Health and Safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • Completion of High School Education is required.
    • Ability to operate a Fork Lift is required.
    • Self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
    • Organizational skills and a proven good work attendance record.
    • Must be able to work nights and weekends.
    • Must be able to lift 25lbs.
